Kristina's notes on Verbier Ski
- Verbier is known for steep, expert terrain, but it works for families too. I base beginners near the gentler slopes and ski school meeting points rather than chasing the famous off-piste.
- The village sits on a sunny, south-facing slope, which is lovely at lunch and hard on noses. Pack high-SPF sunscreen and lip balm in every ski jacket pocket.
- Most families fly into Geneva and drive or take the train to Le Châble, then ride the gondola up. Keep luggage manageable and pack a small bag with ski clothes so no one waits on bags to get on the snow.
